I stumbled across this product recently online, and ordered myself some to try out. Think crystal light without the aspartame, cross falvoured fibre supplement…
Alright so here is the description of the product:

I though I had found a gold mine. If you know me personally, then you know bananas are my FAV food, but sadly they are not a part of my daily food intake. Banana falvor anything tops my top charts, whatever it maybe… gum to pudding, doesn’t matter! Plus I saw a few things that poped up at me: nautral, stevia sweetened, only 5 calories…. My search began.

Whenever you find a new product, looking into what exactly the ingredients are. You always want t make sure you know what you are eating or taking! So first lets take a look at the ingredients shall we:
1) Stevia: low-calorie, all-natural sweetener, derived from a plant called stevia, which grows in Paraguay and Brazil and has been used for centuries in South America. It is 300 times the sweetness of sugar300 times the sweetness of sugar, and has negligible effects on blood glucose.
2) Inulin: soluble fiber with a sweet taste. Belongs to the carbohydrate family, and is closely related to fructo-oligosacchardies (FOS). Found naturally in root vegetables, such as chicory root, artichokes, and trace amounts in onions and garlic. Inulin does not get digested in the gastrointestinal tract, therefore reaches the large intestine intact where it is fermented by your bacteria. It is promoted as a pre-biotic and fiber supplement. (Prebiotics are defined as: Non-digestible food ingredients that beneficially affect the host by selectively stimulating the growth and/or activity of one or a limited number of bacteria in the colon, and thus improve host health).
3) Falvoring:
French Vanilla: real vanilla bean
Banana Creme: real banana extract
Chocolate Royale: blend of Dutch and Brazilian cocoa – high in antioxidants
Berry Burts:extracts of raspberry, cherry and blackberry

The uses of this product VARY! I mix mine in water for a little something different, to adding it in my protein shakes and even using it in baking. The chocolate is great when mixed with a little water and added on almonds- Yummy!
